A safety valve or pressure relief valve is an automatic device that relieves the static pressure on a gas or liquid. It opens once a set pressure has been reached in order to protect the system or plant on which it is fitted, preventing damage occurring from over pressurising. A pressure calibrator, also known as a pressure standard, is a precision device utilised to verify or calibrate the pressure readings of other pressure measuring instruments. It serves as a benchmark for accuracy, ensuring that the instrument being calibrated meets or exceeds its specified pressure measurements. A secondary standard comparator, our pressure calibrators can calibrate up to 25000psi.

Over Range Protectors serve to safeguard gauges from overpressure and potential damage. They can be either pre-set or adjusted by the end-user using the external adjustment screw. Once the designated pressure limit is reached, the Over Range Protector halts any additional pressure from entering the instrument. When the system pressure decreases to the reopening pressure (set at 25% below the closing pressure), the valve will reopen.

A Block and bleed manifold is a hydraulic system component comprising block/isolate valves (typically ball valves) and bleed/vent valves (usually ball or needle valves). It serves to interface with other components like pressure measurement transmitters, gauges, and switches.

Gauge adapters are offered in BSP, NPT, and BSPT with a range of sizes, catering to different applications. These adapters can either reduce or increase instrument thread sizes as needed. Similarly, gauge bushes are available in BSP, NPT, and BSPT with various sizes. They are specifically designed to adapt existing gauge threads to larger thread sizes. These adapters and bushes can be securely fitted using a high-strength adhesive thread sealant.

Cooling Towers are engineered to shield pressure instruments from elevated process temperatures. This streamlined design utilizes cooling fins to dissipate heat and lower the process temperature before it reaches the instrument. Additionally, they can be installed alongside a chemical seal, which further cools the system fill fluid before it reaches the instrument.

Gauge Cocks offer a cost-effective and straightforward method to halt the flow to a pressure instrument, enabling isolation from the pressure media or removal from service. They are commonly paired with a U or Ring Syphon for compatibility.

A pressure gauge syphon serves as a device designed to safeguard pressure gauges from the impact of high-temperature surroundings and mitigate the effects of pressure surges that might otherwise impair the functionality of a pressure gauge.

Pressure gauge snubbers are engineered to dampen pressure pulses and spikes, significantly enhancing the service life and accuracy of pressure gauges in demanding environments.

An isolation valve serves as a valve within a fluid handling system, halting the flow of process media to a specific location, typically for maintenance or safety reasons. Additionally, they offer flow logic, allowing the selection of one flow path over another, and enable the connection of external equipment to a system.

Chart recorders are engineered to measure pressure, temperature, or both over a designated period. On the pressure side, a standard male or female pressure port is featured, akin to a standard Bourdon gauge. Conversely, the temperature side is equipped with a capillary leading to an immersion fitting directly into the process. These recorders may be equipped with either a single or dual pen for recording onto a paper chart located on the front. A clock drive mechanism ensures consistent rotation to track process trends over hours or days. Their mode of operation can vary, being mechanically, battery, or electrically driven, depending on environmental factors.

The pressure chart recorder is used to record and document the results of a pressure test over a given period of time. Our recorders range from fifty millibar to 30,000 psi with a 1 hour to 7 day chart rotation and are available to hire. We also calibrate and repair these instruments. 

Data loggers are electronic devices which automatically monitor and record environmental parameters over time, allowing conditions to be measured, documented, analysed and validated. The data logger contains a sensor to receive the information and a computer chip to store it. We can calibrate, repair and supply new a diverse range of pressure data loggers

 A pressure transducer / pressure transmitter measures pressure. It uses a sensor capable of converting the pressure acting on it into electrical signals. These electrical signals are then relayed to controllers or PLCs where they are then processed and recorded. Pressure transducers use strain gauges to measure the force acting on them. We calibrate, repair and supply transducers up to a pressure of 60,000psi.
